It comes from the collection of famous lady rally driver Sheila Van Damm, and the picture was presented to her by Shell-Mex & BP in respect of her rallying achievements in 1954 and 1955.

The painting is 75 cms x 62.5 cms in size [that is the canvas size] and is framed. The frame also has a plaque saying : “Miss Sheila Van Damm driving her Sunbeam. Winner of ladies championship 1954 and 1955. Presented by Shell-Mex & BP Ltd.”
