Fascinating little original black and white photograph of [almost certainly] the cockpit of Stirling Moss' Cooper T43 at Goodwood in 1958.
Moss gained pole position, but had to retire after only one lap with mechanical problems.
This original photograph by Peter Roberts shows Stirling's crash helmet, gloves and "comfy" shoes left in the spartan cockpit !
